Ashley took part in the Mayor of London’s Liberty festival 2022, a festival celebrating London based D\/deaf and disabled artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashley’s work was selected to be shown in the multi media exhibition ‘Who We Are’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her piece \u2018Bubble wrap\u2019 is a double sided handwoven reflection of her chronic illness showing the craving of comfort that this condition creates with the varying textures showing the fluctuating nature of the condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The piece is handwoven using deadstock yarns, organic cotton and merino wool tops and is 150x40cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
