Come and spend a couple of joyful hours making something fun, sustainable, and entirely your own in this hands-on Smiley Patch Workshop<\/strong> \u2014 a friendly, creative space where upcycling meets play.<\/p>\n

Over the course of two hours, you\u2019ll learn how to create your own unique smiley face patch using a mix of recycled and deadstock textiles<\/strong>. These happy, handmade patches are not only fun to create, they\u2019re also a great entry point into the world of visible mending, repair, and upcycling<\/strong>. You\u2019ll pick up simple stitching and appliqu\u00e9 techniques that can be used again and again to breathe new life into tired clothes and accessories \u2014 no sewing experience needed!<\/p>\n

This is more than just a making session. It\u2019s also a chance to slow down, connect with others, and explore sustainability in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you come solo or with a friend, there\u2019s always a warm atmosphere and friendly faces.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s included:<\/strong>
\u2013 All tools and materials (recycled fabrics, threads, embellishments, etc.)
\u2013 Guidance and support throughout the session
\u2013 Your finished patch to take home
\u2013 The option to apply your patch to a tote bag or item of clothing (feel free to bring your own!)<\/p>\n

Whether you stitch your patch onto an old tote, add it to your favourite jeans, or simply pin it to your jacket \u2013 you\u2019ll walk away with a cheerful reminder of what\u2019s possible when we get creative with what we already have.<\/p>\n

Spaces are limited to keep the session small and social, so early booking is recommended.<\/p>\n

    • Participants must book and pay for their workshop ticket in advance to secure their spot.<\/li>\n
    • Payments are non-refundable, but may be transferable to another individual on the same date or used on a future date with prior approval from the organizer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      • Participants are expected to arrive on time for the workshop. Latecomers may not be admitted, and no refunds or credits will be issued for missed sessions.<\/li>\n
      • If a participant is unable to attend a workshop, they must notify the organizer as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Health and Safety:<\/strong>\n

        • Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the workshop. They must follow any safety instructions provided by the organizer and use workshop materials and equipment responsibly.<\/li>\n

        • Photography and Videography:<\/strong>\n

          • By attending the workshop, participants consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If a participant does not wish to be photographed or filmed, they must inform the organizer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

            • All workshop materials, including instructional content and handouts, are the intellectual property of the organizer and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.<\/li>\n
            • Participants retain ownership of any original creations made during the workshop, but may be asked to grant the organizer permission to use images of their work for promotional purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Cancellation and Changes:<\/strong>\n
