Inspired by the patterns, structures and techniques used in weaving, the \u2018Warp and Weft\u2019\u2019 Cushion is designed to explain what the warp and weft is in weaving.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The warp is yarn that is wound onto a loom and is lifted in order to create a pattern, a weft yarn is placed between the open warp creating a pick of weave.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0This product is hand stitched in our London studio. This cushion is made entirely from one fabric, the trim on the front demonstrates how the warp can be one colour and the weft can be alternative and how this creates\u00a0 fabric and pattern.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The cushion is backed with high quality deadstock twill fabric, saved from Landfill and features a envelope opening, eliminating components that eases recycling at the end of its life.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All cushions unless stated are filled with Stuffed with ethically sourced Responsible down standard duck feather, hypoallergenic & anti-dust mite inserts.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is a permanent product with limited numbers stocked at one time, this product can be made to order with a waiting time of 2-4 weeks due to the hand crafted nature of this product.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
