Brash Wed Fair

On the 29th Of April 2023 we took part in our first Catwalk! It was at the Brash Wed Fair held in central London at the private members club ‘Old Sessions House’ in Clerkenwell. Brash Wed fair champions weddings that are colourful, inclusive, sustainable and fun! Everything my own brand stands for!

We showed 6 fully upcycled bridal looks, 5 of these featured our handwoven waistcoats all handmade from yarn created from discarded wedding & Bridesmaid dresses that were heading straight to landfill! We also debuted two new Jacket designs the ‘Girls Just want to have fun’ and ‘Cherish’ designs.

Each Jacket was paired with an upcycled vintage dress, again these dresses were in bad condition but they were upcycled to have a new lease of life using upcycled materials, beads and alterations & hand embroidery

Check out the Looks below for more information!.

Look 4:

Kemi wears an unique upcycled vintage wedding dress, this dress was destined for landfill but was saved by being upcycled using lace from another damaged wedding dress. Kemi also wears matching upcycled shoes with this look and a vintage hand beaded tiara.
